Not your typical osteopath
Hi there. I'm Tracy. I know it's hard to get to know someone well enough to make a decision about which Ascot osteopathy clinic to see for your pain - and so it means a lot to me that you're here.
I'm a qualified osteopath with a twist.
In addition to nearly a decade of working in private practice and with GB National Representative teams around the world, I have both a background in psychology and a health coaching qualification from one of the most respected certification agencies (ACE). I've also trained in cognitive behavioural therapy for chronic pain - and for insomnia.
Balance is everything.
— allies are important
You gain a therapist - and an ally
You don't just become a patient when we work together. I become your ally in health.
If I osteopathy isn't right for you or if I think you need different care - I'll tell you straight away and help you access my network of consultants.
You aren't alone on your journey - I'm there with you, checking in, updating your rehab, being sure you feel confident on your recovery journey.
I work with GB Representative Teams
When the GB teams were travelling, I worked alongside them doing pitchside first aid, strapping and early injury rehabilitation. I love this work - who wouldn't enjoy working on the beach with some of their friends playing Ultimate Frisbee at the highest level in the world? #playergoals
I love being outdoors...
Hiking, hillwalking, wild camping, kayaking and just being outdoors - it's a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) in a world that is increasingly 'virtual' and 'online. I practice what I preach, too. When I'm not with patients I'm taking long walks, lifting weights, enjoying family, playing ultimate frisbee (yes it is a sport!) and knitting. I prescribe time outdoors to most of my clients ! Not because I love it myself. But because it's good for you!
BA Psych, Masters Osteopathic Medicine, Diploma in Osteopathy, Diploma in Naturopathy, ACE Qualified Health Coach, ACE Certified Behavioural Change Specialist, Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Pain and Functional Nutrition for Chronic Pain.
This is why I don't do the 'letters thing'!
Yes! I'm registrant 8060 an my registration can be checked with the General Osteopathic Council.
I travelled with Great Britain Ultimate and looked after their beach squads.
Lots of people have never heard of Ultimate - nevermind there being at LEAST 7 GB teams!
