More about Tracy the Osteo

My Story
I’m an osteopath – I use my clinical skills and my hands to diagnose and treat your pain problems, and I give you the skills you need to help get you out of clinic sooner and to help you stay well after your treatment is complete.
I trained as an osteopath in the UK after training in premedicine and psychology in the US. I also use health coaching, mindfulness based stress reduction, sleep coaching, pilates, exercise rehab and functional nutrition in my work with clients.

Great Britain Ultimate
In addition to my clinic work, I travel with Great Britain’s Ultimate frisbee teams to tournaments around the world as a part of their medical team. I help prevent and rehabilitate injuries in our representative athletes and provide pitchside first aid. When I’m not working on the pitch I’m playing on the team!
Unique Approaches
Courtesy of my background in psychology and nutrition I’m able to offer comprehensive help to people with persistent pain so they can reduce their pain and live their lives more fully depsite it.
Coming soon will be a full wraparound service including support with sleep, functional nutrition, mindfulness alongside exercise and, if wanted, excellence in hands on treatment.

My Values and Approach
Your wellbeing is my primary goal. I make sure you are safe for me to treat, and if not I refer you to someone more appropriate. I work with healthcare providers of all types to make sure your treatment time does all it can for you. I treat gently, provide you advice to keep well between sessions, give you suggestions on how to keep well after your recovery, and never suggest more treatment than I think is necessary.
In my mind a happy patient is a patient who feels they were treated well and efficiently, were given good advice for self care, and who refers their friends because they were happy with my service. I offer a generous referral programme as a thank you for thinking of me. Join my other happy clients by booking in today.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take credit cards?
YES! To make life easier for my clients, I accept all major credit cards.
Can I bring a chaperone?
YES! I always want people to be comfortable so you're more than welcome to bring someone with you! I don't have a separate waiting area, though, so if you bring someone with you they will be in the consultation room with us.
If you are under 18, you are required to bring one of your parents or legal guardian with you.
Will you 'crack' me?
Many people come to me because I use treatment that is quite gentle. We always discuss treatment optoins together before agreeing to proceed. I never suggest the use of strong, forceful manipulations - and we will have time to discuss the treatment both before and during the treatment itself. You'll always know what to expect ahead of time, and you'll always have the ability to ask questions or say no if you don't want something done.
Do you do insurance billing?
It depends on the company. I provide reciepts for whoever needs them for insurance reimbursement. I am doing a trial of insurance billing for the following companies: Vitality, Aetna, Allianz and WPA.
I do not do insurance billing for AXA-PPP, BUPA or Aviva.
Do I have to undress?
Sometimes people aren't sure what to expect with regards to undress. I always will need to examine you, and this might mean some level of undress. I suggest you wear something loose fitting and comfortable, such as sports shorts and a vest, so that I can see you move and check anything that needs examining. Areas not being treated can be covered/redressed after examination and I always have towels and a gown on hand if you wish to use one.
Can I talk to you first?
Yes of course! Just book a free call and choose a time that suits you - I'll call you back!
