Osteopathy and Sciatica Pain
I help people with sudden and chronic sciatica pain using gentle hands-on treatment, exercise rehabilitation and cognitive strategies aimed at building your confidence and ability to move freely – so you get better faster and do what you want to do.
I take a holistic approach to care, and use my psychology background, functional nutrition and expertise in sleep therapy to support your recovery.
Causes of Sciatica

Manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation are evidence based and recommended treatment for sciatica pain. Gentle hands-on treatment is very effective with sciatica and early treatment is encouraged in order to prevent the pain from being more resistant to treatment. Chronic sciatica pain is approached most effectively by using osteopathic care, exercise rehabilitation, and psychological approaches to managing pain and living life fully.
The goal of sciatica pain is to see your pain reduced and to get you doing what you want to do with your life while you recover. I am to do this in as few sessions as possible. Longer than average sessions means more effective and efficient care. I don’t run my clinic based on treating large numbers of clients – I run it based on top-notch patient care.

I've never been to an osteopath - does treatment hurt?
I use very gentle techniques, and avoid 'the crack' that sometimes people are afraid of. Sometimes people will experience a little bit of discomfort, but I aim to minimise that -and I'll walk you through what to expect in your situation before asking if you are OK for me to proceed. You can always tell me to stop if you are not comfortable.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes! You are always welcome to bring someone with you into your session if you would be more comfortable. If you are under 18, you must come in with a parent.
What is your clinic like?
The Kensington Clinic is a large airy room within a modern sports physiotherapy centre, and the Ascot clinic is a residential garden studio.
